Kathleen Arnold

Kathy has over 40 years of nursing, with clinical, administrative and leadership experience. Over the course of her career she was on the ground floor of the first home Hospice program in the Portland area. She provided care, planning and leadership during the early years of the AIDS epidemic, working with the Tri-Country Health Departments and the Oregon State Health Division. She worked with local NGO’s developing and implementing numerous community educational and support programs for those living with AIDS in her community. Kathy retired from Kaiser Permanente NW after 17 years of managing and operationalizing large NIH and private industry clinical trials, building functional research teams and managing multi-million dollar budgets.

Kathy is a graduate from the University of Portland with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with honors.
