Paul Anderson retired from the National Park Service following a 42-year career. He spent 20 years as a Park Ranger. Paul was a member of the cadre who formed and implemented the first Type 1 and Type 2 All-Hazard Incident Management Teams in the National Park Service. He has been a practitioner, instructor and advocate for the Incident Command System for over 30 years. The second half of his career was devoted to park administration and management. He served as Deputy Park Superintendent at Shenandoah NP, Deputy Regional Director for Alaska, and Superintendent of Denali National Park and Preserve. In these roles he supervised and managed parks, programs, and offices. He developed and taught numerous courses in leadership, management, organizational development, team building, strategic planning and customer service.
With his wife, Wendy, they now reside full time in Tucson, Arizona. Along with golf, Paul's interests include organizational development, leadership and strategic planning, especially as it pertains to emergency management and natural resources.

Paul graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Botany. He also completed the Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.
